A few things

Well, this entry might be about "a few little things", because that's all I really have to talk about right now.

Most interesting, I was reading the news this morning, and found a very interesting article about a "Lost World" of new species discovered in Indonesia. We're not talking about bugs - we're talking frogs, kangaroos, and new mammal species! Here's a link, so I don't get sued: http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,184022,00.html

Greensboro is about to become "Basketball Central" for the next few weeks. I guess that means it's best to avoid eating out and going to bars for awhile... at least without a reservation, anyway.

What else -- oh. I woke up early this morning because some shows that I wanted to see last night were delayed until late night, due to -- you guessed it -- basketball. But there's a relatively new show on CBS called "Love Monkey", and if you love the feel of New York and lower Manhattan, it's well worth checking out. A better series than expected, especially for CBS.

And I finally got a new sound card (this is attempt #2 within the past 4 weeks) for the PC, and to my suprise, this one virtually installed itself and it works this time! Not very good in terms of a heavy bass-line, but I can always tweak it a little bit. It's by a company called "Creative", and best of all, I didn't have to crack open my tower to perform surgery... While I was there, I spotted the New Order double-DVD box thing, and... well there's a long trail of my saliva following me for about 20 miles along the expressway. Too much information?

Anyway, I was going to post a bit more, but "sinusitus" (or something like it) is taking a toll on me. Hopefully I'll get to feeling better before the weekend.
